Got a problem with unsightly or irritating leg veins?
Veins on your legs such as little blue marks are some of the most unsightly things. They are called spider veins, or called varicose veins, and if you leave them alone, quite often the smaller veins will go on to become bigger veins, like varicose veins, and they are much harder to treat.
So what are the leg vein removal options to help you?
1. In the earlier phases of veins, we can treat them with something called sclerotherapy.
Sclerotherapy consists of using little injections into the veins which causes the veins to stick together and the body literally absorbs them.
2. If your veins are bigger than that we have to go to some laser treatments like EVLT (Endovenous Laser Therapy) this is a treatment that is only done in certain centres but it does get rid of some of the bigger veins.
3. In addition, surgery is still done a lot for veins that are really painful or irritated.
